Alongside with it being Brat Summer, do you think there’s anything else that we should be pushing for this summer?

One thing that I think should be brought back, which ‘brat’ is helping with, is really campy house. Like MySpace era music. I think ‘Optifine’ by Gabby Start is taking it in a really good direction. We just need to get back to that really campy late 2000’s early 2010’s EDM sound. There's this one artist, jamesjamesjames, who has a side account called Beverly Hills Mom which is kind of the blueprint for me right now. There's just a lot of room for that sound. I have a song that kind of leans into that. I'm just debating whether I should put it on my next EP or release it as a loosie this month.

If we didn’t have cars and had to ride animals everywhere what would be your mode of transport?

Some part of me wants to just go for a lion or a bear or something that just looks cool. I also kind of want to go with a bird though. Just so I can be like every Pokemon trainer with a Pidgey that learns fly. So an eagle that can carry my weight, if we’re saying it can do that. If we’re going by real animal stats then probably a bear. Riding around on a bear would be sick as fuck.

What type of movie would you want to create a soundtrack for?

I kind of want to soundtrack something like ‘Spring Breakers 2.’ I remember Skrillex helped with the first ‘Spring Breakers’ so I think doing something like that would be sick. Just making a soundtrack for a party movie. Or like a Kevin Hart comedy. Even some really low budget made-for-tv film would be a lot of fun. I’d go into it with an “I can fix her mentality” you know? Like genuinely try to make some of the best shit I’ve ever made.

What video game character do you think would like your music the most?

I could go with the most obvious answer and just say a Goomba. But I’ve also been playing a lot of ‘Bomb Rush Cyberfunk’ recently and I could see that cast really liking my stuff. Like I sampled a song off the soundtrack for that on ‘chica.wav.’ Probably a ‘Guilty Gear’ character too. Like I could see Bridget, May, or Elphelt really enjoying my music, but that may just be me being delusional.

Which children's book would you want to live in for a week?

I’d say ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon.’ That's the one that's really coming to mind. I can just draw whatever I want. I could draw a joint, I could draw a house, I don’t have to draw a landlord. I could draw whatever money I wanted and just completely crash the stock market. If you put me into that world I would turn it into the purge so goddamn quickly. Draw the people some guns, some bats, just see what happens.

If a wizard turned you into an inanimate object what would you want to be?

A bass so a hot woman can pick me up and play me. But also the bass was the very first instrument that I picked up. A bunch of my friends wanted to start a band in middle school and I was listening to a lot of EDM and Red Hot Chili Peppers at the time so I picked up the bass. I’d say the bass just because it means a lot to me

What's the ideal way to listen to your music?

I’ve been listening to a lot of my stuff in the car. I think songs like ‘up all night’ and ‘accessory’ are more party songs. Songs that you could play at a social event, but I don’t think there's one right way to listen. My music is very universal. I might have some guidelines for whenever I release my second album, kinda like what Tyler the Creator did with ‘IGOR.’ But until then do what you want with it. 

What animal do you think would run the best twitter account?

Probably wasps. I live in Florida and we have a lot of them here. They like to buzz up against me and peer into my business. I definitely think an animal that does that and then stings me when I try to fight back is just what a Twitter user is. I’d probably have them muted honestly, just because I know that if I unfollowed them they would make a big deal out of it.

How would you design a zoo if given the opportunity?

I think I’d just put a lot of monkeys in there. I like monkeys. It’d be called Monkey see Monkey Zoo. I’d do it just so I can make that the name. There’d be nothing but monkeys in there. Silverback Gorillas, Chimps, Baboons, Orangutans. But the name would have to be Monkey See Monkey Zoo.

Do you think you’d be a good ghost hunter?

I hope so. I think I would be a good enough ghost hunter to be able to find where one is. I want to be a good ghost hunter just so I can look at ghosts. I think ghosts are really cool and the idea of them is really sick. On the other hand I could also be a pretty shit ghost hunter. I could just go into some random cemetery and point at shit and be like “Oh look there's a ghost!” and then there's just nothing there. I’m probably a worse ghost hunter than I think I am but I would like to develop my skills.

What artists do you think people reading this should check out?

dudda, and her side project Tiffany. #GIRLSJUSTWANNAHAVEFUN VOL 2 is insanely good. Erdo makes really good music. We have a song together on their alt account. All the people that I’ve worked on music with in the past year. Thatcherblackwood, Xaev, Mopearound, Starflye. I genuinely cannot recommend Starflye enough. Everything that she’s been working on recently has been really really good.
